flash game not working in excel.

    Hi,

I have some games in excel & powerpoint. They were working perfectly fine till yesterday.

But today when I am trying to open them. they are not opening. When opening excel with flash game, there is big black square box. When opening power point with flash game, it is giving error "Some controls on this presentation can't be activated. They might mot be registered on this computer"

Flash objects on by browser when surfing site are working perfectly fine. i have also re-installed fresh flash from adobe site, but no success.

Please suggest as what need to be done...........

    Thanks

Sounds like they timebombed the program...so it will only work for so many days, until a given date, or until so many uses. Try deleting the game file and re-downloading it. If that still doesn't work...you probably have a registry file somewhere that is keeping tabs on it...

it maybe flash has not registered properly
    try
    going to Start /run
    type in
    regsvr32.exe “C:\WINDOWS\system32\Macromed\Flash\FlashX.ocx"
(note check filepath is the same if not change it accordingly)
where FlashX.ocx is your release , mine is Flash9.ocx
    then enter to re-register
note if there are more than one e,g, flash7.ocx it wouldnt hurt to register them all!
