You could use Conditional Formatting for this...
1. highlight the range you want to apply the conditional formatting to (D20844:D25899)
2. on the home tab, styles, select CF
3. select new rule, select use formula
4. enter =D20844=$D$2
However, using CF on such a large volume of data will probably slow your workbook down
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
2. If your question is resolved, mark it SOLVED using the thread tools
3. Click on the star if you think someone helped you

Hi Ford,
sorry if im not making myself clear. What I want is if i highlight my maximum and minimum value for temperature and humidity. for example i select IP D4/E1 Hum from the drop down menu the maximum humidity and maximum temperature is automatically highlighted.
thank you so much.
Sorry, you lost me
for example i select IP D4/E1 Hum
Its the dropdown menu under sensor column.
LOL oh OK, I was looking for the range D4:E1.
My suggestion in post #2 is still valid - as is my warning about CF slowing things down. The CF value will be based on the min and max values in D2:D3. I showed you 1 rule, you need to create a 2nd rule, the same way, for the MAX values
Thanks Ford, It works like a charm.
