My paste is auto seperating based on a previous delimited

So earlier working in a spread sheet I split up a merged paste based on delimited:spaces.

Now I'm trying to paste again and Excel is splitting based on spaces, for all available pastes (text and Unicode Text)

Thoughts on how I can tell it to stop??

Also, clearing formats did not help, and opening a new sheet has not helped, about to do a reboot because who knows, it might work.

It would seem the reset does the trick, any idea why this might happen though???

Pick a cell, any cell with text in it. Choose Data | Text to Columns | Delimited | Clear ALL the delimiters. OK out. Now you should be able to copy and paste, etc., without Excel being too helpful.

Why it happens: Excel remembers previous delimiters.

And assumes it's being helpful, thanks for the heads up.

You're welcome. Thanks for the rep.

Yep, exactly so ... as is often the case
