    Select Picture via Dropdown list

    Hi
I'm using an excel file that I found online which pretty much is does almost exactly what I want it to do.With my limited knowledge in excel I was able to make some modifications to create more dropdown lists to select other images on sheet 1. Even though I was able to modify this part I can't figure out how to rename the " insert object -bitmap image box" from =EMBED("Paint.Picture","") to =showpic like the example on the website shows.
I've reached out to the person who created this excel file but I haven't received any response. Attached you will find the original excel file "Picture from Dropdown" and mine "MF_Dropdown_CL" plus the link to the website where I found it. The soul purpose is that I want to create one from scratch using this sheet as an staring point. BTW I'm using Excel 2013.

    Thanks
    Carlo

A total mystery I would say. I sure hope some-other forum member can help me out on this one. Maybe it's an Excel 2013 issue?

I've seen this the first time and think it's quite cool.

You can basically just enter an image you want, select it and then press F2 to assign a named rangeto it (=showpic in this case, ofcourse the whole index/lookup thing must be set up accordingly).

Re: Select Picture via Dropdown list

Everything turned out okay but I was only able to make the list work flawlessly in EXCEL 2010, if I do the exact same steps in EXCEL 2013 the image part will not work.
Has anybody found out a way to resolve this issue?
