splitting city, state, zip from 1 cell into 3 no equal length

i have an excel spread sheet (2010) that contains city, st and zip in one cell. i need to separate these into 3 indivual cells. My problem is the some of the cities are one, two and sometimes 3 words so using a delimiter of space will not separate them correctly. Any ideas? Thank you,

Ok, so the City string varies, but what you can tell us about the State and Zip? For example, will they always be the last two space- (or comma-) separated strings in the cell?

Perhaps if you gave a few examples of the strings you're dealing with?

no commas, no punctunation, nothing is uniform in the cell. here are a few examples. The city starts in position 1 followed by 2 char state then 5 digit Zip.

LAKE SUCCES NY 11042
HEWLETT NY 11557
NEW HYDE PK NY 11042
