automatic formatting?

Is there a way to make Excel automatically put a line across the entire worksheet everytime a number changes in a certain column?


Attached is a file that shows an example.

How do I make sheet 1 look like sheet 2, without manually putting in borders? Keep in mind the actual files I work on contain thousands of rows.

Hi,

Yes, just put this conditional format into A2, set a top border as the format and apply it to $A$2:$Z$29 or whichever last row/column you want
