PDF worksheet with changes

Hi all,

I will merge a few excel sheets into one sheet and then I must share it as a PDF document. However, I would like to know if there is a possibility to leave certain cells (or part of the worksheet) editable or allowed certain changes to be made while it is a PDF? I must share the document at work but I will need it to be presentable and secure at the same time with certain access allowed to readers to make changes. I know I can set permissions and protect the worksheet with parameters where the readers are allowed to make changes. Can I do this after converting the worksheet to PDF? Thx in advance..

Quick answer, a PDF will not allow you to do this.

You would need the full Adobe Acrobat software , The Acrobat editor in excel does not let you add editable fields. Unfortunately the full package is not free and retails at about £199, there is a work around if it is a one off but it is not viable to use this option on a regularly basis as it is time consuming.
