    Question Changing Versions of Excel

    I am in a engineering class where we use excel, i have a mac and all of the worksheets are fro windows i have no problem with this i can understand them. My problem is all of the worksheets are for 2010 excel and i am using 2011 there are different choices in the toolbars and such. My question is can you change from the 2011 version bak to the 2010 version? thanks for reading have a nice day.

    Hi and welcome to the forum

    I use both 2007 and 2010 (as well as 2000 and 2003, but they dont count for this), and I swap between 1 and the other. For the most part, 2007 does not have a problem, but it obviously cannot do the upgrades that came with the later version

    My question is can you change from the 2011 version bak to the 2010 version?
    I think we answered that? All you need to do is open the file on whichever version you want, there should be no problem
