Compairing and Adding data

Hi folks, I've got to a situation that beyond my abilities I'm afraid although I am keen to learn.

I want to take the new data in sheet2 and update the data in sheet1 while keeping the comments and additional information I've added that I've highlighted in grey and disgarding any records altogather that were nto on sheet2.

Any help would be greatly apprecieated.

Are the columns identical? What are you trying to accomplish specifically?

I find it is best to specifically layout what you are trying to accomplish and work through or check off each need and you will find the problem isnt as hard as you thought. Also people are much more likely to answer specific questions.


I looked at that data and it seems you only want to filter then copy and paste? from where to where? what columns? All data? are you trying to append the new (sheet2?) data to the bottom of Sheet1?
