Hi all,

recently, I've found conditional formatting very helpful when dealing with large amount of data (especially percentages).

However, to be able to use it for my reporting, I need to know precisely how do these color scales work (always questioned a lot).

I know that in case of standard 3 colors (e.g. red-yellow-green), the one is always for the maximum value (e.g. red) and one for minimum value (e.g. green). How about the last one (yellow) that should be somewhere between maximum and minimum?

Thank you very much for any explanation or link to other sources
