Okay so I have a model which is currently non-linear. I have a problem in that the model exceeds the maximum number of constraints for the non-linear solver (100). So I have a couple options.
1. Is there a free to use non-linear solvers which allows more than the 100 constraints the standard offers?
2. Is there a way to make the model linear (have been told it's possible, but I don't see how)?
Right now, what causes it to be non-linear is:
- The objective cell is a MAX of all variable cells.
- One of my set of constraints involves a multiplication. Basically:
One of the cells in each row needs to be <= 0. So currently I multiply the cells and then make sure the result is <= 0.
5 -2 -10 0 4 0 2 -1 -2
- Another constraint which involves the subtraction of Max(0, result of 1 variable cell minus another)
Rather vague and hard to explain but appreciate any help.
