    conditional formatting not working

Hello. I have a formula in a cell that returns "OK" or "ERR". I want to conditional format the cell background to be green when the formula returns "OK", but when I put = "OK" nothing happens. Am I doing something wrong?

    Re: conditional formatting not working

    Try
    =A1="OK"
this should returns True/False to tell CF treat A1 with nominated colour

Ok, thanks. Just curious. Why wouldn't = "OK" work?
