AutoCAD icons needed in Excel (not wingdings)

I need to get 27 AutoCAD architectural icons created as symbols in Excel. I have attached an image of the 27 symbols. Does anyone know how I can create these symbols in Excel or if they are already available already. I did browse wingdings and did not find them. (I simply cannot have these 27 icons just floating, smacked into my spreadsheet.)

If I understand what you want, I can think of two ways you could approach what you want.

The first one is simple and easy, but not really what you want:
    1) Insert each needed icon as a picture. Resize so that it fits in the target cell. Right click on the icon => properties => "Move and size with cells". Copypaste the icon to each place you need it.

This will solve the "just floating around" thing, but... it's kind of a kludge.

    Option two...
    2) Use a "Font Creator" to assign each of those symbols to a letter. Then insert the font into Excel. Then when you type, like, capital letter "D", it will display that circled D icon. "T" could be the triangle, etc.

I feel like that might be pretty slick (not necessarily all that intuitive though); but it would require more up-front work and I don't have a sense of how easy/hard it would be because I don't screw around with fonts much.
