    Different Display Scales move shapes

    Hi All.

I am developing a multiple sheet workbook with lots of shapes - with another person. The shapes are moving if he opens the file when I save it and they also move when I open the file after he saves it. So, I coded in the beforesave function, I save .top and .left position of every shape to a hidden sheet. On workbook open, I re-position all Shapes based on their saved locations. Both of our screens are set to the same resolution... What I think it is - display scale. His is set to 100%, and mine is set to 125%! Anyway to adjust for this? I cannot find out how to find / change the display scale with vba. If I could, it may be possible to scale the saved locations myself.

    Thanks.
    Steve

The display scale is called Zoom. To set this in VBA (say to 75%):

Hi. It is not Zoom. In the workbook open function, I record current zoom level for each sheet, set it to 100%, position all shapes, then put the zoom back to where it was. The Display I am talking about is in the control panel | Display

I believe this can be controlled via a Windows API. If no one else responds to this post, open another post asking the question explicitly.
