Formulas and manual data in column

Hi there,

I have a dataset with 60.000 rows. In some columns I had to manually change data. So in circa 58.000 rows I use a VLOOKUP, however in the other 2.000 I have manual added numbers.
Is there some way how I can protect these manually added numbers, so that they do not change when I recalculate the whole column with the VLOOKUP function.

Those numbers are constant, why do you afraid of being change from VLOOKUP?

Seeing that you manually made the entries for those 2000 cells, assuming that they were values only and not formulae, then the values of those cells will not be affected by other formulae that you have on the worksheet. As bebo021999 said, they are constants.
