    Re: Vlookup pictures!

Here is your example file with a working drop down list and your pictures. I have tried to give the directions to repeat the process.

To add more pictures, increase the ranges as required in the Name Manager and make the changes to the vlookup table in sheet2 H2:I4 as necessary.

Make sure that you get the Paste Special Link Picture right or the whole process will fail.

    Re: Vlookup pictures!

This could be a printer driver problem. Make sure that your printer driver is up to date.

If you insert a picture into another file, can you see the picture in Print Preview? If you can, are the pictures that you can't see in the same format as the ones that you can see?

I use version 2010 so this might be different in version 2007.

When you have a picture showing in Excel, click on the picture to select it. Right click and choose Size and Properties. Click on Properties. There should be a selection for Print Object. Make sure that it is selected. That is the only place that I can fine concerning the printing of objects.

    newdoverman,
can you take it a step forward with the picture picking? like for instance, copying that pic you pick and paste it into another cell.

If you want a copy of the picture, right click on the picture so that the sizing handles are visible. Copy. Go to where you want the copy and Paste. When the original picture is changed, the copy will change with it.
