    highlight cell if the cell above is same data AND is highlighted already??

    how do i make the cells (d3 to d6) highlight in red if the cell above (ie d2) is highlighted and has the same data?
    need for the whole sheet
    if the cell above isnt already highlighted then i DONT want the duplicates highlighting (ie rows 276-281)
    please help

    External links are potentially unsafe.

    Attach a sample workbook. Make sure there is just enough data to make it clear what is needed. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are demonstrated, mock them up manually if needed. Remember to desensitize the data.

    Click on GO ADVANCED and use the paperclip icon to open the upload window.

    - excel cannot "see" colors. What is the criteria for making the cells red in the 1st place?
    - which column/s do you want to test for "the same"?
    - if you have a lot of data, CF may tend to slow your file down
