Please help me with excel to word

Hi,

I hope some of you can help me and if so then you this will count as a good deed to get you into heaven.

I am trying to get an excel spreadsheet to past into Microsoft word perfectly without having to delete spaces in word.

Basically my excel is like a story.

Jack and (=b2) ran up a (=b5). Then a spider came and killed (=b6). The spider also killed her brother (=f7) and then went on a rampage and killed (=g1). A plane came by and bombed the city of (=f3).

Basically I would be able to enter different names or values into the designated cells and then I would want to copy it into word.

BUT...when I copy it into word it looks more like Jack and -------------------------- jill---------------- ran up a ----------------- hill. ------------------------

----------------- Then a spider came and killed ---------------------------- bill.

-------------------- The spider also killed her brother -------------------------- Frank.




Please help me! Love to hear from you. Please look at my attachment of what the work really is and paste it into word as "text" and you will see what I mean.

The file is going to be much larger than this with many more variables, but if I cant get the first two paragraphs to past right then I cant do it

The part that needs pasted is in the 2nd sheet....not arbdata sheet

you are copying 3 or more cells combine them using concatenation


formula

=Arbdata!B4&" "&E6&" "&Arbdata!B6

the " " means single space
or
=Arbdata!B4&" "&"insured with and for the purposes of this arbitration, referred to as"&" "&Arbdata!B6

Thank you a lot. I don't have excel at home, so I will need to wait until I get to work. To clarify...I need to use the " " to show a space....or your just including the " " because a (space) is invisible on a message board?

space as separator
say
A1=hello
B1=there
c1=A1&B1 will give Hellothere -> no space
c1=A1&" "&B1 will give Hello there -> with space
Note:

" " is different with "" -> the first one is space and the second one is null or say empty

You really helped me and my project exploded. I pasted it to word and everything looks good. I have a question though. I have to take this from word to another format similar to wordpad, but it does not give the option to click "text only" at the bottom right of the pasted words so its all blocky and you can see the excel structure. Is there any way to remove the excel structure permanately once it is pasted to ms word?

how about the "Save As" options. you can save them as text and other file types.
try it directly from excel. or in ms word itself.
