geo-coordinates distance issue

Hello dear excel experts,

I got an issue (maybe it's not an issue at all...) related to geo-coordinates distance. I got an excel which can produce a distance between 2 lat & long, show name of place, zip code, country, etc. However, the distance it shows me is incorrect and always around 200km less than the one that is showed by gmaps. Any ideas?

Personally, I think that it shows me the flying distance, which is logical, not?
