    Overnight Time Graph help!!

Hello, i am having a problem making a graph. Im trying to make an overnight graph, but excel keeps putting my night figures at the end of the graph, and i dont know how to shift these values towards the far left. I am a complete novice to excel, so i would really appreciate some help if you could.

    Thank you

That is because on your Axis options you have set it with a minimum of -0.3333333 (i.e. - 8 hours). Right-click on the X-axis area then set all the options (minimum, maximum, major unit, minor unit) to AUTO, or leave them as fixed but put more realistic values in there. Note that with time values, 1 represents 24 hours, so most of the values will be fractional.

    Hope this helps.

    Pete

Dear Pete, thank you for your speedy response.

When I set it to AUTO, the values before midnight (22:00 etc) still appear on the righthand side of the graph. I want these values to be on the left, so the axis basically goes from 22:00pm to 11:59am

Do you mean like the attached file? The data for the graph is now derived from the second table (column H onwards), where I have the adjusted the times by subtracting 24 hours from those times which are above 18:00 - I've displayed these as numbers, as you can't use negative time formats in the 1900 date system. As a consequence of this, the graph does not show times before midnight on the axis, although the data is displayed correctly from 18:00 the night before.

    Hope this helps.

    Pete
