    Formatting Data

    Hi,

Can someone help me. I'm trying to format the data in a specific way. The example is attached.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

    Re: Formatting Data

That's not really formatting, that's restructuring the data.

It looks as though a Pivot Table would go a long way to giving you what you want with little effort.

    Re: Formatting Data

    Hi TMS

I tried the pivot table. However, I can't seem to join columns A+B today. I'm able to get the column C and column A, but I want it to be A and B.

    Is that possible?

    Thanks

    Rob

Thanks for the rep bump but I only piggybacked on TMS's recommendation so don't forget to thank him if you haven't.
and don't forget to mark the post as solved if you haven't already.

    Re: Formatting Data

Bit of a kludge. Helper column (C) joining A and B and then using that.

    See the attached updated example.

    Can't help feeling there's a better way.
