I have a spreadsheet where every 2 columns starting at Column E repeat as shown below:
Column E Column F Column G Column H Column I Column J ...etc
G 1,000 G 1,000 G 1,000
Every time a "G" occurs in Column E, Column G, Column I, etc, I want the value in the next column, Column F, Column H, Column J, etc to turn red and be italicized. Anyone know how to do this?

use conditional formatting formula
select column F to J or where the columns end
the use a formula
=E2="g"
Then format red
