    Date Range

    Good Afternoon All,

I would like some help in the following regard if possible:-

I have a set of date ranges - as below:-

3 days SHIP TO CUSTOMER (3 DAYS) - ON DOCK 17/10/2013
    3 days FINAL INSPECTION 14/10/2013
    1 days PAT 11/10/2013
    3 days ASSEMBLE 08/10/2013
    2 days KIT 03/10/2013
    FINAL PART AVAILABILITY DATE 30/09/2013

My formula attached to the dates at the moment are Final Part Availablilty Date + 2 Days then Kit plus 3 days etc.

I then have the parts associated to my dates in a spreadsheet that a vertically shown below those dates - what I would like to do, is on some occasions the cells show blank values as associated parts have not arrived yet. So essentially, can you please let me know where there is a blank date, how I can make the above dates flash or at least highlight to me? At the moment, as above, I just have the latest date (ie for example) =MAX(AF16:AF49) to indicate the longest lead time of my part. So in a nutshell, I would like to append this formula to highlight that when there is a n/a which is what I will use, it will 'sing and dance' to me if that makes sense.

Hope this all makes sense actually - help is appreciated!

    Best Regards

    MacDaddy6801

    Hi,

Have you considered a conditional format?

    Re: Date Range

Not yet Richard! Not too much of an expert myself - just to highlight again what I have:-

    21/08/2013
    21/08/2013
    21/08/2013
    N/A
    N/A
    N/A
    N/A
    14/10/2013
    08/11/2013
    21/08/2013
    21/08/2013

So when the n/a appears, I want the cells to possibly go red just as an example.

I don't suppose you could give me a step by step guide in how to apply the Conditional formatting?

    Re: Date Range

PS Just to be clear - I would just like the 'Final Part Availability' Cell to flash to me (or go red etc)

    Re: Date Range

So, cell contents currently formula'd with =MAX(AF16:AF49) and would like to say =MAX(AF16:AF49) but if AF16:AF49 contains a N/A - please flash!

    Sorry, very new to this!
