Conditional formatting of an area given the end values

    Hi all,

I'd appreciate your assistance with the following challenge.

Attached is a workbook with an example of what I am after.
What I have been trying to produce is a single conditional formatting formula that applies to cell range F6:K8 to fill in cells for each Zone displaying the Periods between (and inclusive of) the Start and Finish values. The aim is that, through the use of conditional formatting, Table 1 will look like Table 2.
So far I have only been able to come up with a formula for filling in the Start point or Finish point, but not the area inbetween. Ideally the whole section would be filled using just one formula.

    Thanks

    Hello

Highlight range G6:L8 and use this formula in CF rules.

How can you use Conditional Formating.

--In Excel 2007 and 2010, Conditional Formatting is in the Styles group on the Home tab. In Excel 2003, Conditional Formatting is on the Format menu. See here how you can work using CF.
