    Macth, Index or Vlookup?

    Good morning,

I am trying to populate a dashboard based on two variables, the week number in F3, and the tab where the data is stored selected by a drop-down box in G6.

The sheet is attached, the highlighted cell should say £91,950 when the correct formula is applied (taken from J5 of the 'Norton' tab)

Ive tried using =IF for the drop-down selection then Vlookup for the week number but I cant get it to work, I'm not really familiar with Index or Match, but wonder if that was the right direction?

If you can help with my problem, and further my excel education it would really be appreciated

    Thanks - Jason

Hi - Sorry for the delay in getting back to you, been a hectic day at work.

Here is an alternative for you using the indirect function.

I added a data val list in G6 of the dashboard tab to select the other tab names..........
