Excel 2013 Print Titles Not Working

I am running Excel 2013. I joined this group out of desperation to solve my problem of no longer being able to Print Titles (areas to repeat at top)
(columns to repeat a left). I read a number of advice responses to not attempt this from the print preview page but rather go to the Page Layout directly from the sheet. That's fine. When I go to the Page Layout tab (from the sheet NOT the print preview) and then the Print Titles function in page layout it is greyed out there as well. There does not seem to be any way to get this function to work. Help.

Hello, buckleyp44. Did you ever get a solution to this? I'm having the same issue. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.
