Vlookup to return a sum of all matches

    Hi,

I need a formula to search for product numbers on a different spreadsheet, and return the value(s) of $$ amount spent to print these products. The products may have been printed mulitple times so they're on multiple lines, so I want the sum, as opposed to the first result found.

I want to search by "product number", and return the sum in column F (invoiced amount) on the "Costs" tab. Please note, not all product numbers will be on the "Costs" tab, so I'm okay with some N/As showing up.

    Does this provide enough info?

    Thanks for the help.

You don't want VLOOKUP you want SUMIF or SUMIFS depending on how many conditions you need to fulfill.
