    Re: Pivot Table Question

    Welcome to the Forum, Crudge.

What you are asking is most certainly doable, but would require a macro which reads down the PT list, and creates a new sheet for every row. I assume you would also want to transfer from that PT some of the information to each sheet.

If you want people to help you with this, you will need to post an example.

    Regards,

    David

    Re: Pivot Table Question

    CTone - Used Trucks.xlsm
    Inventory Sheet.xlsx

    Hi Andrew,

I have placed a macro in your Main File.

It reads through the Pivot Table listing for the Used Trucks worksheet, and creates a sheet in the Inventory worksheet.

You should file both workbooks in the same folder, and have them both open!

The macro copies the relevant row from the PT to the inventory sheet. and there are formulas in the Inventory sheet to pull pertinent data into the sheet. It also creates a simple INDEX at the front.

Note: There is a MASTER sheet which is hidden. This is the sheet which gets copied every time, then hidden again, so if you want to change formulas, you have to do it on the Master, then hide it again.

Hope this works for you. Please let me know how it goes. (I had quite some issues opening the file because of the SQL, and not being able to connect).

    Regards,

    David
