Can a pdf file be put into an excel format?
Thanks
The only thing I can do is to put a coloured border around a .pdf picture. I can't flood the "white" picture to a chosen colour? Although for a split second I see the colour when I select it, then my original picture is there?

Can you be more specific? What format is the data in the pdf file? How do you want it to be "brought into" Excel?
From time to time I receive pdf files that contain data tables I want to import into Excel. Using Adobe Reader 4.0 and higher, Click on the text select tool, select the data to be imported, copy to clipboard, paste in Excel. Then call the text to columns command (Data->Text to columns), work through the text import wizard to tell Excel how to parse the data, and the table is complete. If the data you want to import is formatted so it's easy to parse, then this works well. If the data don't lend themselves well to parsing, then another approach is needed.
