Excel Graphs

This is wuite a simple problem i think, im relatively familiar with excel etc..but today i was making a graph and it wasnt working out! basically my line graph is going in a zig zag and keeps returning to zerro in the x axis. want it to just cut the pts i have inputted ( see image for example) I have also tried a scatter graph application but can find how to get a lie to cut all my points. Greatly appreciate any help given!
