Contents of 2 cells into 1 cell

Hi

I have a list of content that are in 2 seperate cells, i need to put that content into 1 single cell e.g in (A1 =5) & in (B1=Gd) I need (C1=5Gd).

In Column A the numbers will change and will be no more than 2 digits so lowest is 1 and highest is 99, Column B are letters with no more than 2 letters.

It is called concatenate and as you can see in previous reply, it is achieved using the ampersand (&)

There is also a concatenate function but there is no reason to use that.

From the dim dark recesses of my memory, concatenate means join together. So, if you "joined together" "AB" & "CD" you get "ABCD" Or in your case, the contents of A1 with the contents of B1.
