How to delete columns that meet one criteria AND does NOT meet the other?

I have attached the file here for reference.

If for a particular year of data (in this case, FY 2012), I have two columns - one's "original", and one's "restated", how do I write up a code such that the system would pick up "restated", and delete "original"? But for the other years that ONLY have "original" date, I want to keep those columns.

Could you advise on this multiple criteria?

Why not just delete column D?
Notice my main language is not English.

Oh.. Erm, because the columns you see are actually a snapshot of a bigger excel sheet, which has many many columns stretching to historic data. Therefore, I am trying to find a shorter way to do things, hopefully to automate it actually. (:

So if there is a number in restated you want excel to delete the value in original?
