I have a large spreadsheet with many columns in Excel 2007.
I am having trouble with one column's formatting (the last column of the spreadsheet). In almost all of the cells of that particular column, no matter how much text I write, as soon as I hit enter, it all fits within the cell. Then even though it appears my formatting is the same for all cells in that column, the next one does not fit in the cell when I hit enter. The text spreads across the balance of the spreadsheet as far as it needs to go. I have tried copying the formatting from a "good" cell to the ones that are not, but that doesn't seem to help.
My goal is to have all text for that entry in one cell (one line) in one column of the spreadsheet.
I'm sure I'm missing some small point in the formatting, but meanwhile I'm getting frustrated. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
