    Locking formulas in place

Hi, when I sort formulas in numerical order, the cell formula moves with the sort and makes the figures skewed. Can I lock them in place?

Hi Marklar and welcome to the forum,

It sounds like you need to read and understand about Absolute and/or Relative addressing. Read this

    http://www.cpearson.com/excel/relative.aspx

If the link doesn't fit your question then Attach a sample workbook and show us what you mean. To attach a sample, click on "Go Advanced" and then the Paper Clip Icon above the advanced message area.
