    one drop down list on master sheet, answers are on another sheet, (30 columns)

    Hello I am looking to make a simple spreadsheet, but unable to figure out how to make this happen.

    What i want to do is on my master sheet, i have a drop down list. on this drop down list, i want to make a selection, for example i pick the first one, A.

    When i make this selection, a list of columns (30 columns) of answers will show up below on the master sheet. where it gets this information is from the Data sheet. (it also gets the list for the drop down list is from the titles on the data sheet) Could someone please teach me the ways of making a selection from the drop down, show up 30 columns below of informationfor the specific selection?

    Can you post a clear sample that shows the data, and the proposed solution?
    I am having trouble trying to understand what you are trying to accomplish.

    Hello Mike,

    What i am trying to do is on the master sheet, you make a selection from LETTER, say you pick A, your selection will give the column of answers from the Data sheet just that single column

    My apologies that my initial post did not line with the info found on the sample sheet. i was changing the titles to make the sample more general

    Oh, yeah I would use a pivot table for this, and instead of the drop down, I would use a slicer.

    if i were to do the pivot table, will it still give me the option to select the product and still have it side by side with with product A? i'm not too sure where to start on this pivot table business

    I dont think pivot table would be my solution, because all of my data are in words and there is no total.

    The first row "Letters" are like countries, and the Categories (data for the Letters are on the left)
