Hello I hope this is the right forum to be positing this but I am stuck I am not an excel power user but I am in dire need of some assistance my goal here is to create a sheet that does some calculations for me. basically you have the following
revenue for the day: 20,000 (example)
3 empoyees working
test1 (5hours)
test2 (10hours)
test3 (8hours)
what I would like to be able to do is divide the revenue between say 3 employees based on the number of hours so say revenue is 20 thousand dollars I want it divided accordingly between all employees so that each one of them has a set goal based on the hours worked. so with the example above worker 1 has a smaller revenue goal than say worker 2 and 3. I have found it very easy to divide it evenly between all of them but very difficult to do it based on amount of hours worked by each employee and giving each one a diferent goal while maintaining the 20k goal as a unit. some examples or even a guide in the right direction would be greatly appreciated I am using this for educational purposes both for my self and a friend who is looking into learning how to manage revenue at retail store.
