Wink How to convert 0h 8m 10s into time 8:10

I'm new to this forum, but I can seem to get it figured out. I've tried and I keep getting 8:17, so not 8:10 which makes no sense to me. If anyone can help i'd appreciate it!

Please upload the workbook. It's by no means clear what you have entered.

    Try this
    in B1 and copy down

    =--SUBSTITUTE(SUBSTITUTE(SUBSTITUTE(SUBSTITUTE(A1,"h",":"),"m",":"),"s","")," ","")

    Format Custom, [h]:mm:ss

    B
    1
    0h 8m
    0:08:00

Re: How to convert 0h 8m 10s into time 8:10

Thank you that worked. Is there any way to remove the 0 before the 08? so it shows 08:10 rather than 0:08:10

You would have to change formatting for this. If there are only minutes and seconds you can format Custom, m:ss
