Macro to fill out a log sheet

I'm looking for a macro that will allow me to update a log sheet with the click of a button, this will be in another workbook. It will need to open the log sheet, pull data from the other sheet into the next available row, and then close the sheet again.

Any help would be hugely appreciated! Please tell me what you need to know.

The log sheet file path is: file:///L:\General%20Data\Test%20Log.xls

The Log sheet has the following headings and I have written the cell in the main sheet that it needs to copy it from:
Client - C2
Project - C10
Engineer - E5
Sales - E3
Quote number - D5
Value - I24
gross Margin - L1
net Margin - M1
