Copy list of unique names into a new sheet

    Hi,

I have a list of names in one sheet (tab a), sometimes these names are repeated. I have now created a summary sheet (tab b) where I want to show the list of unique names. Ideally every time a new name is added to Tab a, I want it to appear in the summary list in Tab B.

    Can anyone help on this?

    Thanks in advance,

    A

Have a look at the attached for one way of doing this.
Although it's based on one sheet the idea would be the same over two sheets.

    Hope that helps.

Amazing thank you so much, this is exactly what I was looking for.

The only thing I am struggling with is the 'RepeatingList' part of the formula, how have you inputted this?

Apologies, I forgot to explain that bit when I posted.

It's set up as a "dynamic named range" so it expands automatically when you input more names in column A.
This saves you having to manually adjust the range in the formula when necessary or reference a range much bigger than you need to cope with expansion.

Press Ctrl + F3 to show the name manager and the formula that makes this one work.

Apologies I'm still struggling with this!

I've attached an example sheet similar to the one im working on, could you possibly show me how its done on this version?

    Thanks for all your help.

Here you go. I'm assuming it's the Project Names you wanted carrying over.

Note the dynamic range formula is slightly different in this case. As you have a blank row at the top of the "Project Names" sheet I've added +1 to the end of the formula.

    Hope that helps.
