    SUMPRODUCT multiple criteria help

    Hi,

    I currently have the formula

which works but i need to add another "ISNUMBER(MATCH" due to now needing another criteria.

    references a date range

references the building name that repairs have been completed on and

references the cost of repair but i now need to add another ISNUMBER(MATCH or its equivalent to reference the type of repair which is kept in column '2015'!I1:I9999.

Im sorry if i haven't explained it well, if further information is needed i will try to explain as best i can.

Also I am on excel 2003, i know that with later versions the SUMIFS function would completely solve my problem.

    Not too hard?

    1) You should refer to B1 for the MATCH, not B1:B1 (not that it makes a difference per se, it's just that the formula needs a cell, and you're giving it a one-cell-long range).

    2) I assumed the second match is feeding off B2, just replace that reference with whatever cell it needs to be.

I originally attempted that but to no avail, currently on my phone but will attempt when back at PC, thanks.

    Re: SUMPRODUCT multiple criteria help

What if there are no values in the range that fit the criteria?

That will return zero from the SUMPRODUCT.
