How to place a checkbox in a cell

Friends,

I realize that its verry basic. But i cant remember how to place a checkbox in a cell (any cell).
The method i seek is not a devellopers modus. That places a checkbox on the sheet or form in Exel.
What i seek is just a checkbox in a cell. So i can place in all cells in a column chechboxes.

I hope it is clear what i want.

If it is to be 'in' the cell so you can drag it down, you need a font with a checkbox character. Try Wingdings or Webdings

The only ones I know of are both in the developers tab, the Forms checkBox (which doesn't need code) and the ActiveX checkBox (which does). Neither can be 'filled down'

Simplified the code in the post above so you can add checkboxes to any selected range. You don't need to save the code in the workbook you have added the checkboxes to for them to work. A good place to save the code would be your Personal Macro Workbook.

You could then put a button in your Quick Launch tool bar to add checkboxes wherever you want.
