In my attachment there is filter screen there, i want to take all kottampatti singampunari kadaladi all, i want to list here each one data only. if i select all means it will show all datas what i am saying is, if i click kottampatti means i want to display only one record. Here if i select kottampatti means it has lot of datas displaying. but i want to display only one data in kottampatti how to do that ?
Hard to see from a pic what you are dealing with, always better to upload a sample workbook.
However, I think what you need is this...
1. create a helper column
2. =countif(J:J,J1) copied down
(I assumed you wanted J, adjust as needed
3. Filter on the name you want, and then filter on the helper column to show only 1
1. Use code tags for VBA. [code] Your Code [/code] (or use the # button)
2. If your question is resolved, mark it SOLVED using the thread tools

no its not working. in j column i have tick mark for all branches. In one branch it has so many records but i need only one record branch name need to display there not number.
Will you please attach a sample Excel workbook? We are not able to work with or manipulate a picture of one.
1. Make sure that your sample data are REPRESENTATIVE of your real data. The use of unrepresentative data is very frustrating and can lead to long delays in reaching a solution.
2. Make sure that your desired solution is also shown (mock up the results manually).
3. Make sure that all confidential data is removed or replaced with dummy data first (e.g. names, addresses, E-mails, etc.).
4. Try to avoid using merged cells as they cause lots of problems.
Unfortunately the attachment icon doesn't work at the moment, so to attach an Excel file you have to do the following: just before posting, scroll down to Go Advanced and then scroll down to Manage Attachments. Now follow the instructions at the top of that screen.
Please pay particular attention to point 2 (above): without an idea of your intended outcomes, it is often very difficult to offer appropriate advice.
