Which column are you working on? You have a few "text" dates in column G, and no formatting will fix that, you will need to convert them

If you are working on G, try this to convert the text dates...
1. Highlight that range
2. Select Data tab/Text2Columns
3. click Next?Next, select Date, leave it as mdy, click Finish
4. Format the dates as you need them

thanks alot... its working in your excel sheet... i have tries it was working for 1st 4 cell only after that its not asign properly
Did you try the conversion method I suggested?
If you did, and it did not work, please upload your file showing what you tried, please
check this excel file and rply me. what is the error
What is your system date format can you please clear once here....
mm/dd/yyyy
mm/dd/yyyy.
Here it is working great what you problem face ???
Where is it not working, in the file you sent, it all looks good?
See this screenshot, it was mm/dd/yyyy format, 04/06/2017 is one cell and 04/07/2017 is that cell + 30 but it changes on date only 1day. but i need the output is 05/05/2017 it means 30days from 04/06/2017. but the outputs shows here as 04/07/2017
According to your file, your cell is formatted as dd/mm/yyyy, not mm/dd/yyyy
no it was mm/dd/yyyy. check the month from starting it come 04 maximum of all col..... this is 05th month.. so i am trying to upload apr month data in may this month
I just checked AC2 and it is formatted as I said, and actually, so is O2
As a test, format O and AC as Long date, you will see they are 30 days apart
i didn't understand what you are trying to say to me ?
The cells I checked in O and AC are all formatted ad dd/mm/yyyy, NOT mm/dd/yyyy.
Then I suggested that you do a quick test and format some cells in O and AC as Long Date, so that it shows the day, month, date and year, and you will then see that the calcs is correct.
I hid the columns in between, hopefully they will stay hidden in the copy below...
