    Add notes from 6 empolyees

Hello. I have 6 employees including myself. We use a spreadsheet that I send out each morning, but to keep track of the more complex cases I would like to add a notes section. One of the problems that I see is that only one of us can edit notes at a time. I can have them send me an excel spreadsheet at the end of the day and copy them to the report i send out each morning along with a vlookup formula, but there has to be a more eloquent way instead of copy and paste the notes. Any suggestions?

    Can you share the workbook.

    Practice with a sample workbook.
Goto Review and select "Share Workbook".

there are limitations of Shared Workbooks. You can read up on them here.

It would work best if it were a simple workbook with nothing too fancy

Yes, the share workbook feature may work for me. However, I create a new workbook every morning. How can we automate this process by migrating the notes from the the prior day to the current day. I can only think of a Vlookup function to handle this. What do you recommend?

I have one master workbook that holds all the information. Then an input workbook that everybody can use, when they click a button, it opens the master workbook, adds the information, then closes it again, instantly. That way the master workbook, will always be closed.
So with the master workbook, you can have other workbooks that gather information from it or add information to it.
