    Filtering a column of States

I have a data base from my retail store containing 6000 names, addresses, I want to filter the state of MS my residence state MISSISSIPPI . When i select the filter icon , the small box comes up for all the columns. i go to the one under state and select none then select MS. This data base has been downloaded from my POS system which is associated with my POS that is cloud based It comes to me as a CSV . I click ok and the states are removed all except MS. Then i save as and place it on the desk top. Open it again and all the states are back in the list ????????

Filter doesn't remove anything, it just hides the rows. You want to remove them?

Use the Advanced Filter Option with the output to a different worksheet. Then save that worksheet as a .csv file
