Problem with data validation

Hello,
in my book, i have data validation in an area. When I opened the book on another computer there was no choice of data validation. Im sure that i save the book, because I opened it a lot of times and I worked it out, in the first computer. What problem can there be?

And what happens if you transfer the file back to the first compurt and open it again?

After that, area with data validation is an empty cell with no options of drop down choice. My data are in the same area as before, also in the same book, nothing changed and nothing moving with another book.

I do not understand your reply. Does it work when you tranfer the file BACK to computer 1? yes or no...

Oh sorry, my answer was not too cleal.
If i retunr the book to the first computer, data validation not works (or work in another computer).
The list wich i have the data isnt changed, isnt moved or deleted.
Ie. If i was have data validation in cell K5, now K5 is a simply cell, without the chioce of drop down list.

I've seen this a few times myself without there being any obvious reason. It MIGHT be a little Excel bug.

When it has happened to me, I have just had to recreate the validation link. If you can't work out what's causing it, you can't fix it, so you will just have to work round it.

If we use code to say it "dont go away stay here for ever" what you believe? It goes away again??

I told you so! It's one of those weird glitches. I have never worked out why it happens, as it seems to happen randomly.
