    Need help with Conditional formatting / Due dates

    My due date is 5-Oct-2017 in cell E6

    formula is :
    =AND($E6<=TODAY()+3,$F6<>"Done")

    I want to highlight for only for 3 days from due date (which is 5 oct 2017), I can't
    get it right, please help.....

    and then some of the due dates are in future so do I need to change the
    formula to =AND($E6>=TODAY()+3,$F6<>"Done") ?

    Re: Need help with Conditional formatting / Due dates

    due date is 5-Oct-2017 (today is 11 Oct 2017)

    =AND($E6>=TODAY(),$E6<=TODAY()+6)

    doesn't work
    but if I change the due date to today, it works

    Modify the conditional formatting in E6 as following:

    =AND($E6<=TODAY()+3,TODAY()-$E6<=3,$F6<>"Done")

    Re: Need help with Conditional formatting / Due dates

    This works on due dates earlier than today, do I have
    to change " < " to " > " for due dates after today?
    Or can there be a common formula that can work on
    all due dates (before and after today?).

    Thanks.

    Re: Need help with Conditional formatting / Due dates

    Please see the attached file. I hope I have explained my query clearly,
    if not please let me know...thanks.

    formula is …… =AND($E6<=TODAY()+3,TODAY()-$E6<=3,$F23<>"Done")
    does the formula mean that it SHOULD NOT highlight after 3 days?

    I would like to highlight on due date for 3 days, then change to
    another color for 3 days (indicating it's overdue)
    for this rule ...should the formula be ….. ?
    '=AND($E6<=TODAY()+6,TODAY()-$E6<=6,$F23<>"Done")

    Please advise.

    Thanks.
