How to reset excel for Ctrl-Shift-End to find updated last used cell?

    How to reset excel for Ctrl-Shift-End to find updated last used cell?

    Upon deleting the data/format of last used cell, Ctrl-Shift-End still regard this as last used cell.
    How to reset excel so that the updated last used cell can be found?

    try
    • clear all (ribbon - Home - Editing group)
    • save & close
    • re-open

    select cell ("last used")
    then on the ribbon
    select Home tab
    then go to the Editing Group
    then select Clear
    then click Clear All
