Matching text problem

Hi Guys

I am a very basic beginner on excel and am trying to wrap my head around the formulas.

Would anyone know how to solve the attached problem?

I was trying to do something with the IFNA formula but no luck.

Although the syntax is the same IFERROR works in more Excel versions and covers more error types. IFNA won't work in versions earlier than Excel 2013, and it is limited to #N/A errors only.

That said this is the IFNA version.

Thanks for the assistance, I have tried the online help. I'm ok with the functions as they are separately but it's when I need to combine them, that I get it wrong.

Unfortunately, I didn't have much luck with the formula you've provided. I'm going to try to use IFNA with VLOOKUP and with the MATCH.

I guess I am not clear on exactly what you want. The formulas are working at my end.

Examine the attached and please tell me what I am missing.

Edit There are trailing spaces in the data column B. Those will defeat matching 'Contact Types'. See what happens when you clean up the data.
