    Move rows containing specific text to a column

    I have a file with a 2 fields in columns (name, date) and a "notes" field in rows under each name. I would like to move the "notes" field to a column. How can I accomplish this? I've attached a screen print of what I'm trying to do.

    Hi. One example is not enough to see the underlying pattern. please repost a sample file with about 5-10 representative datasets.

    We can't see how many rows there are before the next dataset begins, if the number of rows per dataset is always 2 lines, if the number of blank rows is always the same, etc, etc.

    The data contains confidential information so I can't post the actual data. But the data is in a consistent pattern of 2 rows per record, with no blank rows between records. I've manipulated and formatted the data to that point. It's just moving row2 of each record to column c that I'm not sure how to accomplish.
